ClearOne, Inc. (“we”, “us” or the “Company”) is firmly committed to ensure that the personal information that users (“user” or “you”) share with us and with others in connection with the use of the CONVERGE ® Pro 2 Dialer (the “App” or the “Application”) is secure and protected. The following information explains our privacy policy regarding the use of the App and outlines potential risks to your privacy when using the App.

The CONVERGE® Pro 2 Dialer is an Application that is used as a dialer interface for the CONVERGE® Pro 2 product family. The App allows you to:

  • Make and receive Telephone calls through the CONVERGE® Pro 2
  • Make and receive VoIP calls through the CONVERGE® Pro 2
  • Make conference calls (multi-party calls)
  • Put calls on hold
  • Transfer calls
  • Set Call Forwarding rules
  • Add contacts to the Phone Book in the App
  • Share contacts from your mobile device’s contact list to the App
  • Set up favorite contacts for quick access
  • View the Application’s call log
  • Set the Do-Not-Disturb state
  • Mute the Converge Pro 2’s Microphones
  • Set the Converge® Pro 2’s Volume Up & Down
  • Configure settings to enable the App to connect to a CONVERGE ® Pro 2.

The Application does not collect any personal information from your mobile device. However, the App does allow you to access your device’s contacts to facilitate dialing one of these contacts through the CONVERGE® Pro 2. You must do this explicitly in the App. It is not done automatically. In sharing your device’s contacts, it is possible for another user of the App on a different mobile device, concurrently connected to the same CONVERGE® Pro 2 unit or stack of units, to view the current call in which you are participating and to view a history of calls made, including calls you may have made from your device’s shared contacts list. The call history is not stored in the CONVERGE® Pro 2 device. It is stored locally with each App that is connected to the CONVERGE® Pro 2 unit. Therefore, it is not possible to download, remove, or clear this call history from another user’s App on a different mobile device.

If these risks to your privacy are not acceptable, then you should either not share your device’s contacts with your App or you should remove the App from your device.

By using this App, you signify your agreement with the ClearOne Privacy Policy. We reserve the right, at our discretion, to change, modify, add, or remove portions of this policy at any time. Your continued use of this App following changes to these terms means you accept those changes.
